SocialOne JomSocial Template 1.6.RC2 Released!

Socialone is the latest JomSocial Template release from the Gaboinked! Labs. The latest RC2 revision is available for download and RC1 users are encouraged to upgrade if you already have not done so. SocialOne RC2 support many enhancements and bug fixes, with added tabs to the Group Pages, and supported by an installer and configuration component. JomSocial v1.6.285 Released!

JomSocial has released an update to the 1.6 build. JomSocial v1.6.285 is available for download. Remember, that Gaboinked! Labs Professional Services clients and new SocialOne customers will receive $25.00 OFF when purchasing JomSocial 1.6.x Standard, and $35.00 OFF when purchasing JomSocial 1.6.x Professional version of JomSocial!
SocialOne Compatibility with K2 CCK for Joomla!

Many efforts have gone into addressing jQuery conflicts associated with the features of the SocialOne template. We are not unlike other Joomla! users that currently use the K2 CCK component, and discovered that their usage of the standard Joomla! mootools v1.11 does not work well with JomSocial’s jQuery library loaded in the head tag of Joomla!

A really great jQuery no conflict plugin called SC jQuery on the Joomla! Extensions Directory that not only addressed the SocialOne conflict issue, but also a few other conflicts with components not related to JomSocial. If you are using SocialOne with K2 installed, we definitely recommend that you download, install, and activate this component.
